Juventus v Lazio: The game that could reshape the top of Serie A

Six weeks ago, nobody would have picked this as the fixture of the autumn. Juventus against Lazio is always a big game, but it was supposed to be the record champions against a club in turmoil. Instead, it is the side joint top of the table against a team still trying to work out what it is.

On Sunday night at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, kick-off 8.45pm in Italy and 7.45pm in the UK, Gennaro Gattuso’s Lazio arrive with 16 points from six games, level with Inter. Juventus are sixth on 11, five points behind. A Lazio win would open an eight-point gap and push Juventus towards a crisis. A Juventus win would cut the gap to two and turn the season back towards normality.
