Juventus vs Napoli. Serie A MD10

De Bruyne's Napoli meet Juventus: The Premier League bridge into Serie A

Two clubs level on 14 points, two coaches facing their former sides, and a cast list straight out of the Premier League. Before Sunday's Juventus v Napoli, we look at De Bruyne, McTominay, Højlund and the rest, what they have done in Italy, and why following a player is the best way to fall for calcio.

If you have spent the last decade watching the Premier League, you already know half of Sunday night's game in Turin.

Napoli's squad includes Kevin De Bruyne, who won six Premier League titles with Manchester City, plus two former Manchester United players in Scott McTominay and Rasmus Højlund, and Billy Gilmour, once of Chelsea and Brighton. Juventus have Guglielmo Vicario and Pape Matar Sarr on loan from Tottenham, Nick Woltemade on loan from Newcastle, Douglas Luiz, formerly of Aston Villa, and the USMNT's Weston McKennie.

That is the argument of this piece. The easiest way into Italian football is not to learn the whole league at once. It is to follow a player you already care about, and let the rest come with him.
